i draw hope



i draw hope in
pencil-thin scratchy tracings
lines that meander
from purpose
to insight
smudged and smeared
shaded for depth
coloured to appeal
then tucked away in a drawer

    Journal half filled..in a drawer- yes, it is downstairs in the empty bedroom serving no purpose, not even hope...I will trade you!
